Cognitive radio is a smart that can change its transmitter parameter based on interaction with the environment in which it operates. The demand for frequency spectrum growing due to big data issue as many Internet of Things (IoT) devices are network. Based previous research, most was used, but some spectrums were not called hole. Energy detection one sensing methods has been frequently used since easy use and does require license users have any prior signal understanding. But this technique incapable detecting at low signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) levels. Therefore, wavelet-based proposed overcome detect holes. main objective work evaluate performance compare energy technique. findings show percentage 83% higher than performance. This result indicates precision interference towards primary user be decreased.
